If you just want a good transmitter I use a sena sm 10.
IT NEEDS AN ADAPTER THAT GOES FROM 5 PIN DIN TO 3.5
It has two 3.5 plugs one for the headset jack and the other can be used for a gps that has a 3.5
Plug. If used it will over ride the music and give directions.
Have used one for quite a while and its worked great.
"nothing at all" is the best option
Just look at what you want going on in your helmet.
When on a l9ng trip I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and even the news.
Sso I use XM radio in the left cubby and thumb drive in bag transmitted to
my Sena 20s headset by way of a sena sm 10.
Some of here don't listen to anything but the wind..
All in whatt you want.
I'm still watching these posts and thanks for your inputs Shortleg521.
I did find some DIN pin outs on another site, DIY Goldwing Headsets if anyone is interested and for future reference.
Din Plug Pin Connected to
1 Microphone Screening (-)
4 Microphone Live (+) (via Capacitor)
2 Earphones Screening (-) on Both Left and Right
5 Earphone Left (+)
3 Earphone Right (-)
EDIT...And then later in the same site it "changes" to this:
Din Plug Pin Connected to
1 Microphone Screening (-)
2 Microphone Live (+) (via Capacitor)
3 Earphones Screening (-) on Both Left and Right
4 Earphone RIGHT (+)
5 Earphone LEFT (+)
And finally, I find this statement..."If you look at the back of a 5 pin din plug the pins are numbered 1,4,2,5,3, not 1,2,3,4,5. this is where a lot of confusion is made when connections are made. 1 being mic+, 4 is mic ground, 2 is speaker common, 3 and 5 are right and left channels. Here is a link to plug image."

I just got my hands on "used" Sena Freewire so I'm resurrecting this thread.
I've also bought the new Scorpion EXO-GT930 Transformer modular helmet with the UClear Bluetooth system installed.(Actually had to get it separately and install myself.)
I can't seem to get a workable connection between the two. I can get both units lights to tell me the "pairing" was completed but I cant get any audio from the F6B audio system (set to headset) to play in the helmet headset.
I've paired the EXO-Com headset to my Android phone and it works fine, which is my work around for now.

Amen Brother.

SeaSteve Before you lose your mind trying to get it sorted out, make sure that both devices have the most current firmware update.
