When I purchased mine it had a CB radio installed on it, the large antenna was mounted on the back of the passenger backrest, the controls on the left handlebar. I removed all of it.
I use an HT on the handle bars with a ram mount and a Comet HP-32FHN mounted on the luggage rack. My headset is a Pryme SPM-800 to match the radio and the PTT is mounted on the left grip. In the pictures I had a SBB-5 before I upgraded to the HP-32FHN. It works quite well into the repeaters but, would be perfect if I had about 25Watts output. I'm thinking of either mounting a mini 25 watt 2M radio in the center glove box or a Kenwood TM-71A in a saddlebag with the remote face mounted on the dash. BTW 2M and CB are what I use on the bike.

Never cruel nor cowardly, never give up, never give in.
Thank you for your reply. The Pryme gear looks like a good idea for me.
