Hopefully we'll learn from the blunders in Europe and back off on the fantasy that we can electrify everything. By shutting down reliable power plants and hoping a wind and solar utopia would emerge to fill the void, Europe became highly dependent on imported energy. And now they are paying the price. Coal plants are being reopened all over Europe, and with Russian natural gas cut off they're paying over $49 per million BTU for liquefied gas from the USA, while we're paying under $6. And the UK began to ration EV charging this month.
I was at a race track last weekend and the Sunoco 110 was already expensive as heck. $13.78 per gallon!
