Intermittent Starting Problem on 2015 F6B - Need Help

I'm reaching out for help with my motorcycle, a **2015 Honda F6B** that has **25,000 miles** on it. It has had no problems to date, but recently it sat without being started for **six weeks**. On the first ride after that period, it started just fine. However, two days later, it wouldn't start until I added **3.5 gallons of gasoline**. After that, it ran perfectly for **four weeks**.

On two occasions, my bike wouldn't start. When I turned the ignition switch, I heard the fuel pump activate, and there was plenty of electrical power. During the second incident, the fuel gauge showed that there was **3/4 of a tank of gas**. However, the bike started without any issues the following morning, even though I hadn't added gas or connected a charger to the battery.

    ## Questions

    - Has anyone seen this issue before?
    - What can I ask the shop to look at?
    - Are there any obvious parts to replace that aren't too expensive?

    Thanks for any help :-)

Several things for you to check. Does it crank over? Have you checked the kill switch and side stand switch? Does it crank over at what seems to be a normal cranking rate? If it doesn't crank over when you hit the button, do the headlights and dash stay lit when you hold the starter button in? If it cranks over, have you checked the fuses WITH A VOLTMETER while trying to start? Start at the battery terminals and keep referring back to them.
These are some of the easy things. If there are cranking or voltage issues you might be able to fix them. After that, it probably is a job for a shop.
You can post your results here and maybe we can help you some more. Good luck.

I keep the battery on a smart charger, so I would expect the battery to be in good condition. It cranks very strongly, no dimming when it won't catch. It acts like it's out of gas. The orange fuel pump light blinks steadily after I stop cranking. In any event, thanks for the suggestions, guys -- I really appreciate it.

I'll ask my mechanic to check these items. Thank you very much.
