There are all kinds of cup holders out there.
I was ordering the RAM set up for my phone and I noticed they have a ball mount cup holder, so I ordered up the mount with 2 balls instead of one.
Sorta like this:
Same one I use works great and comes with other mount options. Ordered a lock so no one will steal it off the bike.
That looks pretty good, and apparently slim enough to fit and out of the center hole without a fight. Unfortunately, I ended up sending mine back because of the paint damage, from swinging open the chrome cup holder a few times. The fine people at KuryakynOriginally Posted by Texas TC

This accessory in my opinion looks awesome, but the drink holder is way too small. The only drink that fits into the center is the smallest bottled water you can buy,and what good is that? I tried every thermos and travel mug out there and nothing fits! Also, it will end up scratching the paint on your fuel cap door, as when it's swung open, there is not enough clearance on the bottom. The edge is sharp and scratches the paint if you don't pick it up and out after unlocking it with the key. Mine ended up being an $89.00 change holder! I sent it back to Kuryakyn and went with the Ram Mount instead.
Not for my taste.
