    What the heck is this?

I was cleaning the baby, I laid down and found this! What cheap piece of poop is this? Has tape on it?

    Radiator fluid over flow tank.
looks like it has burped a couple of times.
Aluminum tape is to prevent exhaust heat from melting plastic tank.
    Works as designed.
Belly pan would definitely add protection.

Successful people build each other up. They motivate, inspire and push each other. Unsuccessful people just hate, blame and complain.

    Move it?

Eh, just where are ya gonna put it?

You could run forever without it, but you'd end up with a small air pocket in the Rads.

Once in a blue moon folks get a puncture in the tank from debris,,, Again, no real harm to the engine, but,, you know,,,

Belly pans keep the flying debris down,,,

I formed a 24 GA cover (Looks like drywall stud 'track') and schmucked it to the bottom of the tank w/3M double sided tape.

All said and done, it's $40ish for a new tank in case you ever did end up with a puncture,,, Pretty rare, but it does happen.
