    The Ultimate Trike

Seems like Polaris may have hit a "home run" with its new Trike. 170 plus HP with power assisted steering and a unique body design. Base price is the same as a Basic F6B.

    Here's the info

I am not usually in the "Just buy a Miata" camp as I feel like trikes certainly have their purpose, but I think I am with this one.

When you start going with an automotive engine, automotive 5 speed, auto tires, auto suspension, brakes, front end, etc etc etc you did not add a wheel to a motorcycle, you removed one from a car.

Aside from "Hey look at me!!" it seems like a miss to me. And with Polaris' already small dealer network finding parts and service for this is most likely going to be like hunting a unicorn.

    Small dealer network?

the Slingshot is a backed by a huge network of 1,700 dealers in North America.
It definitely looks like a car to me.

Go ask a Victory owner how that has worked out for them. I suppose maybe Polaris is planning on having all their snow mobile dealers work on these, who knows, regardless it's not for me anyways.

Sweet styling, and it looks like loads of fun. But if if it has a steering wheel, it's a car.

It oughta be a crime to have this much fun on a motorcycle.

You are right. There are WAAAAY less victory dealers than Polaris dealers. Also WAAAY less Indian dealers than victory dealers. But these are sold by Polaris not victory.
