Thanks to F6-Pilot for the tip ...

My Sunday Solo run through the Dragon has made the list of candidates for the "photo of the week", where people vote "LIKE" on their favorite,

My Red Campagna T-rex loves the Dragon .....

Scroll down to see it and click "LIKE" if you do like the image, Thanks in advance

That T-Rex is just bad ass! Made me go check out their web site. WOW way out of my meager price range, but they are now putting the 6 cyl from the BMW in those things. So I went and checked out the Polaris Slingshot, That thing look crazy, not available yet but I gotta try one.
Called a dealer and of course he was singing praise and said in 2016 they will have a supercharged version. My wife keeps telling me With my inability to behave and act my age, I best stay away from such things. Honest officer it seemed like a good idea at the time?

    Thanks for the compliment !!!

I WOULD NOT purchase a new T-Rex, I know way too much about these vehicles.

The BEST T-rex's in my opinion are the 2003 - 2006 units that are powered by the Kawasaki ZZR1200 engines. I ran the dragon with the RPM's in the 7000-9000 range and my temperature gauge was always on the cold side, the engine is the coldest engine ever installed on the T-Rex. The 2007-2013 models have the Kawasaki ZX1400 engines and in the first 2-3 years with the 1400 they have had over-heating issues, they have solved the problem "somewhat" but they still run on the HOT side. The BMW's dealership network and cost to maintain makes these older 1200's very attractive.

This is my third 1200cc T-Rex and was built in 2005, will be 10 years old next year and I still have a freakin blast riding the heck out of it. You can find these older units with low mileage for HALF the cost of what the new units cost and they have not changed the appearance much since the first prototype was built in 1994 by Daniel Campagna in Quebec Canada. With only approximately 500-550 units in the world, it is a rare beast.

I understand your wife's concern, I have been given 2 "performance" awards by the local Blue Lights for out performing all of the other vehicles on the road

I can certainly understand the performance awards! Not like it wouldn't attract the attention of anyone when it goes by.
