    Black provides the illusion of speed. Red is faster due to the chemical makeup of the paint and its texture when applied.

    It oughta be a crime to have this much fun on a motorcycle.

    Phaedrus, whereas you may think you have a "quality" (yes, I read the book) hypothesis here, better moisten your glove, touch the head, and feel the heat.
    Exactly because it HAS texture, it has more friction, and by all that is physics, is S L O W E R.

    Black, of course, represents the absence of color, the absence of texture and the absence of light. Nothing slows it down.

    Even the forum header proves RED is faster than black, and yellow is even faster yet. It amazes me how many times this silly issue comes up when in fact the proof is shown every time you guys log into the forum.

    Did y'all buy this bike to go fast? This ain't a fast bike, guys. I didn't buy it for speed.
