2000 ultra classic. My 5 Harley's before that were OK. Can you say Magnelli Morelli? Those who have owned one know what I am talking about.

Had a love hate relationship with a 1975 Norton 850 Commando. Loved to ride it, I was in my late teens, but what a POS. Every 100 miles or so I had to tighten crap up. Depending on the weather it would run like a bear or crawl like a slug. Wish I still had it though, she sure was pretty.

I had a 1999 Harley Davidson Electra-glide with FI problems and a serious electrical issue.
It was to become a custom trike project and proved to be a bad candidate.

Yep! That would be the Maggot McNelli EFI. Never seen an HD mechanic that had a positive thing to say about it. My choices was to upgrade to the Delphi or convert to a carb. Both options were close to 2 K each on a bike worth about 6.5K.

I got rid of the bike through a trade with a person on Craigslist who wanted to trade and 1991 Evo Electra-glide for a Twin-cam, good deal for me not so much for him.

I had a 1972 Triumph Trident 750 right hand shift. That thing leaked so much oil it was amazing. I would put at least a half qt in after each ride. The Triumph dealer always said
" and whats the problem? " . I also had the 1971 Kawasaki 500 triple. I am surprised I never killed myself on that thing. It was a jet engine in a bicycle frame with crappy brakes compared to todays bikes.

I remember a friend having the same issues with a BSA, he was using very thick oil as well, not sure if it was 60w but maybe 50 w.
