Kury grand tourer bag part 4141

I got a kury grand tourer bag and have not had a chance to
    use it yet
Has anybody else got one and used it on a trip yet?
I plan on getting a mp3 rack for th rear to mount it on, I am
hopeing that this will work rather than mounting it on the seat.

It will be fine...do you have a Deluxe? Have you raised the butt chock so you can tie the bag to the back rest?

    not yet

That is the next thong on my list to do.
The back rest will have to be raised for sure, also the
larger rack looks to be a good thing.

    I have this one:
    http://www.kuryakyn.com/products/682/grantraveler-bag

    The "Grantraveler."
Needs to be slid to the left side of the bike about 2" to avoid the antenna.
It doesn't touch the backrest. All that rigging is for the T-Bag on the passenger seat.
Looks like this on the MP3 rack:

I too have the Gran Travler bag and MP3 rack but no backrest as I never ride two up so I mount the bag to the rack and a little over the back of the seat.Bag works great for me and I like the handle and wheels when needed.

    Kury Custom Roll Bag

I have the Kuryakyn 4166 custom roll bag. I originally bought it for my Honda Rune for overnighters attached to the front fork above the headlight but I also use it on my F6B to carry things I need to get to quickly like rain gear, extra gloves etc. Since I ride solo most of the time I attach it to the back rest and hand grips on the FB resting it on the passenger seat area, fits quite nicely. This bag has lots of straps and many choices to attach it and it's expandable.

Get one of Steve's risers. I use mine for my bag and my passenger's comfort. The big rack makes things a lot easier too. Sometimes I go full tilt.
