I am starting to sense that there may not be anything wrong with the speakers. It has a ton of treble and a hollow/metal twang built into every song. It really needs to be able to get a lot of attention while playing this

If I can't fix it, I will fix it so no one can fix it.

I'm pretty happy with the Polk MM series and the added amplifier. Compared to stock, well there is no comparison. Now, hopefully the sub I ordered arrives today. When I was sampling some music with the new speakers, they could be clearly heard across the street. Keep in mind, I was in the garage and had my insulated garage door shut .

After Sending in the speakers I got an email yesterday that they were indeed found to be defective and J&M are replacing them.

Because if you get the knock-off they'll only sound good if you play the high treble music of:

I received one bad speaker from J&M when I did the upgrade to my F6B's sound system, which they replaced as soon as I contacted them and sent back the bad one. I'll say the J&M speakers are NOT louder then OEM but sure are more clear in their sound quality and worth the $ if just a speaker upgrade is all you want. IMO.

So how do you know you're getting the real deal? What size are these anyway? Did you bump up the amp or is it all stock?

    J&M Speakers

I went through a 3rd party to order my J&M speakers. When I received them one of the speakers was bad. I had great customer service in the ordeal, but went through 2 sets of speakers till I got a set that worked as they should. I think it was a bad batch but I am happy with the upgrade so far.
