I've done some of the same rides as you, south mountain, Yarnell (after fire), I certainly do appreciate living in a state where year round riding is possible, though some question my wisdom when It's 115 out and I'm coming home from work on my bike......good times always. I live near where that accident happened. That was bad.
FYI, I don't stop in the middle of the lane at lights because that's where all the oil is!
