Does everyone's (Deluxe) self cancelling turn signals do like mine? Mine only seem to stay on for between 5 and 10 seconds and then I have to hit them again if I am not to my turn. What a pain. I would almost rather not have cancelling ones at all!

Only had my bike a little over a week, but haven't had that problem. Not having self-cancelling previously, I keep finding myself trying to turn them off myself though.

Yes, I've stated this from the get go. It's a pain!

They are turned off by an angle sensor, not a timer. If you rock too much or turn the handlebars while waiting at a stop light, they will automatically turn off. I love the feature; I suspect you'll get used to them.
I love them! First time I've had them.
I think it is a timer though, unless you stop then they stay blinking. Mine blink the same amount of times when changing lanes.
I use to hate leaving my blinker on while riding, plus the danger factor involved.... Never again

I don't believe this statement! Not calling anyone a liar! Let's make that clear cuz I don't want any hurt feelings. But I can initiate a turn signal and within 150 ft with no movement the signals terminate. Yes maybe one way it's a motion detection device but distance or time play a roll In there somewhere!

I agree with the OP. Mine is the same.
But... I thought I read somewhere... if you hit the turn signal while the brake is applied the signal will stay on until you turn. So as you approach a turn hit the switch once and then again after you apply the brake. It's a learning curve but it works for me. Try it.
My work fine, but there is little learning curve, so to speak, as stated in the above post....Love the things...
Do a search... a very long thread on this back close to day 1.... has to do with RPM/speed ....

Slow speed is angle, fast speed is timer. If you ride slow around town works great. Lane change on freeway works great. Exit off highway not so good, have to hit it repeatedly.
