So I do quite a bit of highway riding, but I do not want to give up the handling rain or shine.

How many miles can I expect to get out of the original motorcycle tires?

If I would switch to the darkside (I assume you mean to buy a car tire?)

Which tire do you use?
Would I be giving up handling and be taking extra risks just to save money?

I appreciate your opinion.

There is no difference in handling! CT maybe better, much better grip, much better in the rain...no down side!!!
30-40 K miles
Mich alpine
You save money !!! 4 MC tires compared tone CT

Now, I'm not trying to start anything, just reporting what I saw while on many long rides with this guy. The 6 could have a different size, or sizes that work well.

I will have my bike in Franklin, anyone can ride it...if someone did not tell you there was a CT on the back...you would not know !!! The 109 and the F6 are two completely different bikes !!!
