Haven't rode the beast in over 4 weeks

I haven't rode my Goldwing in over 4 weeks. My wife had this great idea to totally remodel our kitchen. So after getting several quotes, which were totally outrageous. I was told we could do most of the work ourselves. So after 5 weeks of working 40 hours a week at my regular job and all day and Saturday's and Sunday's on the house, I'm almost ready for when our new cabinets come in. I'm 55 and my wife thinks I can work like a 35 year old. I'm taking the rest of the week off to ride.

Tearing out a perfectly good slate tile floor sucks at 55 years old.

+1 It sucks, no matter how old you are! Hopefully, now you can ride until the snow flies!

    Cool All Done.

Just had our kitchen finished a few weeks ago, and wood burning stove installed as it's always cold in the Highlands. Three of the guys were bikers so they refused to do any work in the garage in case some wood dust got onto my bike. My bike is well covered, but I respected their wishes and they did all the cutting etc outside
