I got a special kit to clean and seal the matte paint. I don't think you are supposed to wax the matte paint.

If I do a Google search for "Liquid Glass paint protection", I get hits for lots of different products (all calling themselves "liquid glass") from lots of different manufacturers. Autoglym paint cleaner, polish and Caranuba wax on my blue bike.
If I want to give her a birthday, then I'd use my 'Swissvax' detailing kit. Top of the line and bloody expensive but brilliant. I save it for my MG.
