    Switch Gear? Lighting

Does any of the switchgear or the left side panel of Radio switch's light up on the F6B. I have nothing lit at night?

No lights at night on mine. It took a while to get used too, many times I went to set the cruise and hit the start button. High beam switch too, have to hunt for it in the dark.

Inexpensive and simple plug in with a little wire routing. If you have a power plug in the left cubby this works well to illuminate the cubby itself and the buttons on the left side panel. One light stays inside the cubby and the other follows along the wire of the existing communication plug, sticks out of sight under the plug end and shines down on the buttons. Almost invisible and works well and can be removed with ease if you need to use the power plug for something else. https://www.walmart.com/ip/CUSTOM-AC...-Volt/16783559

Mine does also. Strange I could have sworn I was trying to find the correct button one night and it was not visible. Oh well I guess I can put both in the cubby for even better light inside.

Why do some light up and other not? Mine is a 2013 and I don't think it ever lit up? What should I check if it doesn't light?

Mine lights up on my 2016, but it is pretty dim. I rarely ridet at night, but I went to the garage to check. With my bright overhead garage lights on I could not tell that it was lit, but when I turned out the garage lights, you could see that it was backlit. Controls on the handlebars are not lit.
