    She's gone......

Went to the dealership where I traded in my Road Star back in May for the new 2013 black, standard F6B. The owner made me a good deal and I switched the F6B back for the Road Star. I am paying for the Road Star with a fresh, new deal and I will now have payments for that starting the middle of November. However, he cut me a fresh check for the balance he owed me after paying off the remainder of the loan on the F6B. So, tomorrow I will deposit that check in the bank and pay $7,000.00 down on my credit card debt. That takes care of 3/4 of that debt so I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The owner actually came down $500.00 on the price of the Road Star which is exactly what he paid me for the bike when I traded it in for the 6. He ended up making no money on that deal. That was very nice of him. As long as I keep buying metric bikes, I will always buy them from him.

I just read the back-history to this. Glad you got it done, congrats.
I agree with Scotrod and others, though, if you sit out the winter without a bike payment you might be able to make some big progress on your debt!

    Good deal.
Key will be eliminating the credit card debt now - as you've already seen, once you've gotten to the point where you can't pay the cards off in full each month, the hole can get deep very quickly.
You're already on the path to another F6B in the foreseeable future!

You really need to out the name of your dealer, it sounds like he deserves all the free press he can get.
