Oh dear. Guess I'll just have to repaint mine.... I think purple or teal blue is fastest.

Another memo from Honda, tic tictic tic typewriter ticking. All black F6B's north of Tennessee will be refered to as
    "black ice'
ED209 says RED is faster, you have 20 seconds to comply !

It takes more pigment to produce black paint than red therefore black is heaver and slower.

Yellow is the new red. Red use to be fastest, but now yellow is clearly faster. Just look at the picture below for uncontreverted proof. Sadly, black has always been a bit behind.

Hey at least we all have exotic hot rod colors like the very expensive cars.

Red is definitely faster. You don't hear about Ferrari black

Wasn't the origin of Fast Black a hold over from the VRCC?

My bike is Black! But to be fair I added a red stripe 'cause I like red too...

    Wink

    And a Case for Red:

    Attachment 7493
Sportsters come in red! (and they have a word 'sport' in their name)

    Attachment 7494
Red bikes are built for comfort, not much for speed...

    Attachment 7495
Many sport cars come in red...

    Attachment 7496
Many women like to wear red outfits and pose as superheroes...

    Attachment 7498
If you ride red bike you may be a Sith...

There you have it! Seems to prove that Black is indeed faster than the Red!

disclaimer: above expressed opinion is just for fun, color does not affect the speed of the vehicle unless the vehicle is black, in which case it is the fastest color. Elin's bike is exempt and it is the fastest F6B colors in existence today.
