Sad to see it go but glad that we have a pair of B's in the now more roomy garage!
Bought the wife a Mustang seat for Valentines Day now hafta install the Kury risers for her. That Mustang seat feels great!

The kid that was making payments on my 97 Standard sold his Shadow and paid up yesterday, I was almost hoping he would back out and not finish the deal, I am curious what year and model did you have and what did you get for it? Mine sold for $3800 with extras thrown in and carbs rebuilt/ cleaned out last summer.

My '98 Standard with 41k, 6-into-6 pipes, LeatherLyke bags, "new" rubber," and windscreen was worth $4k to trade on the F6B in August. Once that number was known, got $4200 from a guy I know.

About ran to the dealer for my F6B.
Only thing I thought I would miss was the trunk. I found
the Kury grand traveler works just fine.

It is a 1997 Tourer with 115,000+ miles. It had carb issues that I did not have time to address. It had a few extras but I sold the Ultimate King beforehand. It was not running at the time of sale & the new owner is a good wrench and has the time to spend making it right again. It's going to be his girlfriends bike after a lowering job. I sold it for $2500 as he is one of our Florida VRCC guys.

I will miss it for all the memories it holds but the new owner will get enjoy it now. I have visitation rights as I'm sure we will see it often!

I like the area up here but not the cold ass winters. We have been in this same house since 1988 but I still long for a milder winter like we used to have in St. Pete!
