    unknown part

Ok guru's....I found this floating around in my right saddlebag over the weekend. Does anyone know if it's from the bike? I don't seem to be missing anything. I did the superbrite led's over the winter, but all seems secure. I know it's a bushing, but that's about it. It's a metal piece.

Looks like the bushing for the saddle bag lid....pull up a pic of the parts for the lock on the saddle bags and see if you can see this one.

Could be part #2....will have to check that saddlebag after work, see if anything is loose. Thanks Steve.

That looks like where the studs come through into the saddle for rear light housing. If I remember, a cap nut on the stud.

The bike is parked, but I felt the cap nut on that side yesterday...it's there at least. Have to look around inside and out later today...thanks for the tip

Na, took care of that...no noises with this, just rearranged things and found it.

You may have unknowingly push that part out of the rubber gromit that the tail light mounting stud goes through. You may have to remove the cap nuts to see which one it came off of.
