    accessory socket

Ok, I found a number of different accessory sockets.
OEM part number 08E70-MJG-670 at around $70.00 t0 $80.00 I do see that this socket has an extra something (fuse/regulator etc..) in-line on the wiring harness. This socket plugs right into existing motorcycle harness.
Hondaline Part number HL-08U55-MCA-101 at around $37.00 does not have extra something in wiring harness. This socket plugs right into existing motorcycle harness.
Show Chrome about $10.00 to $20.00 dollars. This socket plugs right into existing motorcycle harness.
Value Accessories about $10.00 to $20.00 dollars. This socket plugs right into existing motorcycle harness.
I kind of want to go with the OEM but $70.00 for it is tough to take.
Which one did you put on your 'B' and do you like it?
Or which one would you go for?

Yes! . Any of you not familiar with step drills or bits, this advice should not be overlooked. You can get a set of them cheap now from places like Harbor Freight. For drilling larger holes in plastic, nothing is better .

I got the one from Honda only because I was spending the $1000 dollar accessory money. If I was buying out of pocket, I too would have bought one of the much less expensive options.

I use uni-bits or "step bits" often. I have a couple of sizes. Good ones are not cheap. They are usually 40- 60 dollars a piece. One from Harbor Freight may work for the occasional user at home though. I use them professionally and bits do tend to be an item where you get what you pay for. That being said, I have bought a fairly large complete set of regular bits from Harbor Freight I use in my home shop and they have been ok.
