    Our Latest Bike Painting

As a few of you know we did sell one of our bikes a couple of months ago (to our nephew in Michigan) and did get a new 2016 Ultra Classic Limited. The color from the factory is Back Quartz Metallic.
We had to have painting that was at least as good as my F6B and of course as good as Teresa's Spyder.
This is a picture of the start on the Fairing. As you can guess, Dragons and Castles.
Picture is not Clear Coated and not quite done yet.
Painting is being done again by Mike Lamborne of MountainMan Art.

Am going through the same thing now tearing down the F6B to do some painting.
    Great work on the castles.
Harleys are a bit easier to tear down to paint, did one or two myself.
These F6s are a bit of a pain because of all the parts and small stuff like the the trim
on the side of shelters and the parts from around the brake calipers ect.

You are right. The parts came off the bike fairly easily. Just a lot of little things to take apart like hinges, trim pieces etc.
The F6B is a little more difficult on a few of the pieces. When we did our F6B it was taken apart and pieces painted at Honda of Russellville then we had all of the pieces sent to WV to Mike for all of the art work to be painted on and then re cleared.
It was then all sent back and they (HOR) put it all back together.
