    Tought's on a led modification

Thinking of adding some LED lighting red or amber inside the vent area on both sides of the bike to add some visibility to the sides.

What are your thoughts of which type of LED's would fit and look the best?...I'm thinking of attaching it to the plastic behind the cover on each side so I am trying to keep it very thin and wire it up to the accessories connection in the fuse box.

Another question is...what it this vent area used for? it it for heat to escape or as an intake to help cool?

I think it is an aid to help you pop hat off panel; and to keep it looking good as well aesthetically.

I saw those down at the Rally this past weekend. Pictures do not do those LED rings justice. I'm going to get a set as soon as Hambly starts making badges again...

That pic right there looks like what I'm shooting for!....What did you use to light it up?
I just came back from Autozone, and they had quiet a few options for led lighting...some small strips with 3M tape on the back to apply which didnt look to bad, but I would like an overall lighted effect.
