Hello everyone. Finally took delivery on my 2016 standard yesterday. Been waiting for over a month but now the 6 is in my garage. No pics as you all know what a matte silver looks like but I have to say WOW. What a amazing motorcycle. After 38 years on Harleys this by far is a new and awesome experience. Thanks to all for I have learned so much about this bike on the forum. Cant wait to get in the wind.

You'll be surprised at how much of the elements you do NOT feel on this bike.
If it's too cold to ride, then spend some quality time reading the Owner's manual. LOTS of good info in there.

Penguin congrats on your new ride. I too have come from riding Harleys. This bike is smoother,faster, and has better handling then any bike I have ever owned. How far is Lakemoor from Joliet

I am on the far West side of Joliet about a mile or so from route 59, no more than 10 minutes from downtown Plainfield.
