Well, you can stop worrying about going to church to pray: R18 motor in an RT will not be happening! Take it to the bank.

Good to know. I was a little worried how I could pull that off!

Not even a variant of a 1.8 twin?
Floats Like a Butterfly, Stings Like a "B"
What does the B stand for? B-Courteous. B-Safe. B-Seen.....B-CNU on the road!

Because it will probable be a very distinct line with multiple models, like the R9t, with it's own unique features. An air/oil cooled, cam in block, old school single plate dry clutch motor just doesn't fit into the high tech touring scene that the RT currently dominates with it's water cooled, wet clutch, overhead variable cam high horsepower motor. It would be a big step backward with no redeeming qualities for the touring scene.
