If ya want it to look like the one below, 3,000 miles should just about do it, otherwise I'd change it out.

Never, never, never go on a trip with a tire in question. Until you have been stranded in the middle of nowhere with a shredded tire will you appreciate this advice. Its not like a car. you only have 2 points of contact on the ground and if a worn tire blows at speed it will really make you pucker.

When your out on the road those Bastards have you at their mercy and can charge you anything they want for what you need. So do the pre-trip stuff before you leave and the trip will go in your favor and not theirs. JMHO

You could buy a New Take Off wheel and tire and when you get back from your trip put the old one back on.

Just ordered a new set of Dunlop Elite 4's. I ordered them through the Victory shop nearby for $370 and will have them do the install. The local Honda dealer wanted a LOT more for the same tires.

    Elite 4s

You may be the first one to have those on one of our spirited little gals.
A tire report will be expected under a differentt thread when you can spare the time!

Will do. I should have a pretty good assessment after my trip later this month.

I am always interested in Dunlop's as I had a very good result from them on my old bike and if the Elite 4's are as good as the Elite 3's or even better then I would be looking at them for my next set.

And isn't that a shame? They should have access to the same pricing. I don't understand it. You know the Victory boys aren't giving them away.
