    Dinner is Served!

My wife was very concerned for my eating habits as I am now in Florida and she is still in Philly. She shall be joining me after her last semester at LaSalle this fall.
SO, she wants me to send her pictures of the food I make.

I truly love that she cares about me....but I think I shall survive.

    This was dinner tonight:
Cajun chicken breast, applesauce, spinach/romaine salad with blue cheese dressing and a Guinness Blonde.

Once the dishes are done and the kitchen is cleaned up, I may have a scotch for dessert.

Please post the menu for the rest of the week, I'll let you know what day I'm stopping by for dinner.

Beats the heck out of a "Big Mac" and fries, or frozen "Banquet" dinner.....

I would trade the scotch for some crown royal. But I wouldn't trade that chicken breast for anything. Man that looks good!!!!

...and that's why I've been twice married, divorced, and shall remain single the rest of my life! But I'm not bitter...

I find bourbons generally too sweet for my palate.

    will generally do me right.

However, I am not risk adverse to trying new things, so if we are in Franklin and anyone insists on buying me something I "gotta try" - I'm game.

Tonight, I took the other cajun chicken breast, and incorporated it into salad with blue cheese dressing.
The beer is called Prairie Bomb from a local craft brewery. Dark, espresso/vanilla/nutty thing going on - very tasty.

Lunch was a bit more conventional: turkey & provolone with romaine & a honey mustard.
