    Does anybody have an idea?

I am trying to find the luggage rack kit for my F6B to mount a Bike MP3 rack. There are 2 that I see that Wings tuff has:

    http://wingstuff.com/products/35532-...el_luggage-f6b

    http://wingstuff.com/products/35356-...g-system-black

Any input would help as one is $29 and the other is $89

You can save yourself the extra money if you drill your covers . That looks to be the only difference.

So there are embedded nuts already there to accept the bolts from the rack if I'm getting that correct.

Visit the Partzilla Web Site and do a search for the seat! You'll find a detailed diagram showing the Backrest and mounting kit! The threaded adapters are separate items. When I first purchased my 6 the dealer installed the backrest which needed the mounting kit with new plastic inserts. There was a charge for the mounting kit. You need items # 14 & 15....Backrest Stays Right and Left. $17.81 each!

I don't have a stock seat or backrest, I have Russell Day Long with a Russell backrest and never had a rack on this bike. I will go to Partzilla, thanks.

I saw the parts on Partzilla and they look just like these that Wingstuff has http://wingstuff.com/products/35532-...el_luggage-f6b, except, instead of being $17.81 a piece they're 2 for $30, I wonder if they're the same, spec-wise.

I'll bet they are the same! The threaded bosses welded to the bracket appear to be the identical to the ones on my 6!
