Are those bolts metric or SAE?

Put your glasses on it is obvious they are Whitworth sized fasteners.

And if you know what they are then you know your scoots.

All taped up and ready for paint. But all I have at the moment is flat black BBQ spray paint

    Finished

Two coats of Krylon gloss black spray enamel.

Will get them mounted as soon as I source two new cotter pins... Most assuredly this will extend the life of the Kinetic Kury pegs. The stainless steel bolts "should" wear down more slowly than the pegs themselves...

...am interested in the first "scrapes" with them.

    They look sweet. Great work.

Wonder if you could have had a couple of nuts welded together, then had those nuts welded to the bottom of the peg. Then you could change the bolt out when she became worn.

That is a good idea... and that would work... though the bolt would hang a little lower if fastened into two JB Welded nuts; in the grooved slots... but not by much

...too late at this point though to modify it as such.

The 1/2" bolt does fit very snugly in the grooved slot underneath the Kinetic peg... once it wears out... I can play with a new design as you suggested. Unless someone beats me to it... Biglry
