My mantra has always been “You get what you pay for”.

Exactly, just keep an eye out for the Garmin 595, they used to be price fixed, now some retailers are selling them much cheaper.
I waited quite a while before I found one for $475.00, well worth the price.

Sorry, I checked just now and the refurbished ones are Zumo 590’s but they’re $445 or so from several sources.

The 590s and 595s are almost the same GPS. 590s do not have the adventure routes. The TPM system is a nice addition but you have to add the tire monitors which are not cheap themselves. Playing music off the cell phone in my pocket is nice also.

The 390s and 395s are great also and have most if not all that the 590/595 has just a smaller screen.

The other issue is trip planning. You can only choose one from column A and one from Column B. No substitutions!

What does the B stand for? B-Courteous. B-Safe. B-Seen.....B-CNU on the road!

    NO!
It was from a California vendor who was at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland, and for the life of me I can't recall the name.
Actually, there was a Garmin Rep at his booth..
