Sweet, thats awesome I wish I had more time to be able to do a trip like that. But thats not in the cards at this point, work is super busy and I need the hours right now.
It wasn't as bad as it looks, it was 116* on I-10 on the way home that day. The worst part was the area between the top of the boot and bottom of my work pants, when I sit in the F6B my pant leg comes up just enough. That was freaking hot. But the rest wasn't bad, I ride in long sleeves, gloves, my work boots, and a full face helmet. Keeping exposed skin out of the afternoon sun makes all the difference.Quote:
Wow! Sorry, but at 109 degrees my big a$$ will be sitting in the AC.
I like to ride but not sweat.
  Congrats to both of you
One question ........ TIRES, how are the Bridgestones holding up ? Will you continue with OEM when it comes time to replace?
The tires seem fine so far, no cupping or anything. The rear is a little squared off from riding upright so much, my commute is boring and thats 60% of my miles. I got a nail in the rear tire about 700 miles ago, it's plugged and holding air just fine. I'll stay with mc tires in rear OEMs most likely.
T-shirt at A&S Powersports "I've got more miles on my bike than you have posts on your forum". Someone needs to make an F6B version......

On my current trip from Texas to Wisconsin, I just turned over 10000 miles.
That's some great mileage, I'm jealous! I do 60-80 miles a day during the week and more on weekends. I'll be there before I know it. So how many services have you done and at what intervals? Any major maintenance? SpeedyWho, especially you cuz we both live in the severe heat, what intervals and oil/filter are you using?
Just turned over 10k on the way home today, from Sactra-tomato to Washington State. Bike is less than 3 months old.
HaHa, finally found a forum where folks ride as much or more than I do, lol.....
It is going to be slow and lower numbers for me this summer, but as soon as the hip is up to speed, back to normal:icon_wink:.
Congrats to all of the folks breaking 10k.........
ps.. anyone using any type of cruise device???
