To be fair - yes, it was the Rivco Aero Pegs that caused that horror story. But I'm still going to take the chance. My understanding was that the pegs on that bike weren't specifically made for that model (which is why we're still waiting for them to be released) - which may account for why they punched through rather than popped off.Aren't those the ones that didn't fold back on one guy and tore open his valve cover, when his bike fell over in the garage???
Plus, I'm not planning on ever leaving them in the open position other than when going down the highway. Accidents may happen, but from the moment I saw them I knew these were the pegs for me.
Though I'm leaning toward chrome rather than black
