DON’T FALL FOR IT!!!

I’m talking about accessory power outlets. Although this may be old news to some, but it’s still worth mentioning. I’m an OEM kind of guy and I went to my dealer to pick up an accesory socket just to find that the F6B version has a different part #, “but we are getting a couple that fit your bike next week”. So I head back the following week (today) just to find out the F6B version is $$79!! Well, I ended up buying the GL1800 version for $29 with the promise that I could return it if it doesn’t work. I got home, plugged it in and it works like a charm! So, buyer beware, for less than half the price you get the same OEM product.

I said the same thing. When I ordered my bike I ordered the 12v socket $79 but I had the dealer install it the day I was picking up the bike
and there was no charge so I can't complain

I have bought two plugs from ebay for $16.99 each. Put one in my f6b and the other in a friends 2103 level 0ne gold wing. Exactly the same thing. Plug in.
