That's a major error that you are making, you have to tell her that you are buying it for HER and you will be her chauffeur

Successful people build each other up. They motivate, inspire and push each other. Unsuccessful people just hate, blame and complain.

I have a plan, the Shtbk, '90 Fl w/127 Ultima engine, is black, F6b is black, by the time it comes time to ride, when I pull the cover off of the F6b, she will look at it for a while and say it looks different to which I will reply, winter accessory budget dear, accessory budget.

I always work under the premise that: it's easier to ask forgiveness than get permission. But opinions vary.
13 F6B Deluxe I've taken the road less traveled, now where the hell am I?
I don't buy a bike to impress other people, just me !!

Yeah, unfortunetly, most guys have to live by that premise. I know I am lucky, by plan and design, because I would only marry a woman that rides a motorcycle herself, so she is 100% on board with any bike I want to buy, or any accessory I want to buy, because I also do all the mechanical work on all her bikes. Want to really make a woman happy ? Teach her to ride, and set her free.

Taking her out of town for the weekend, not part of the plan, just worked out that way, asking for forgiveness is down the road. Besides, when I built the new garage, I knew that upstairs bonus room/man cave would come in handy some day.

    Great Wife

Christmas 2003 I opened a shirt box and out comes a set of Goldwing keys and a note to pick it up the next day. EMS followed soon. She is a keeper! 51 years and counting. Oh yeah, she does not ride due to an inner ear problem. The note is displayed in my Wing hangar till this day. Congratulations on your new F6B.

So just for shits and giggles I called the dealer that had the '13 black Deluxe demo, 2,400 miles, was the owners demo, that they were asking 17,500 for when Honda had the 1,000 thing going on, it was now 16,999 , I offered them 16,500 and they said 'HELL NO" and I started to walk away... Well tomorrow I sign the paperwork. I will be a F6b owner, YEE HA.
Welcome, choptop ! I wouldn't exactly call your plan backwards but more accurately, planning ahead . Sounds like you landed a pretty good deal! Oh, and BTW, don't even try to keep up with some of the accessorizing "specialists" on this forum unless you have really deep pockets (not to mention any names) .

Yep, sure is cold this morning. It is 16 degrees out, when I went out to take care of the critters. But everyday when I look at the weather map to see how cold it is outside, I also glance off to the north and east a tiny bit, to see what the temps are where Kevin (kjelders) lives, and he is usually 3 to 5 degrees colder than my place.

At least our roads are 99% clear, so I was actually thinking of taking the bike over to the shop that does wrap work on vehicles. Hmmmm...
Now where is my electric heated clothing ?
